Located in Barcelona, this apartment is a masterclass in interior design. It masterfully blends antique pieces with custom-made furniture to create an overwhelming personality and tell a story with each piece. This was the starting point for the interior design and architecture studio Mengíbar Blanco: to build a home capable of accommodating everyday domestic life while simultaneously showcasing a collection of family heirlooms, antique finds, and cherished mementos. “To organize and to balance. To show off and so that everything has its place.” The owner’s favorite corner? The sofa that is under the window, next to the fireplace, where she sits with a blanket and a book whenever she can.
