The Lab #026 (Leather heritage) side table by Crearte Collections is born from the collaboration between Crearte Studio and Violán Studio for a distinguished residential project in Spain. This piece pays homage to the nobility of saddlery traditions and fine leathercraft applied to contemporary cabinetmaking, projecting a sober, architectural, and timeless character. Its cubic morphology is structured into two well-defined functional areas: an upper drawer fitted with a classic antique brass handle and an open lower niche that brings depth and versatility to the piece.
The most distinctive feature of this design is its virtuoso artisanal execution, evident in the full leather covering with subtle nuances and a warm patina. Each edge of the volume, as well as the drawer frame, is meticulously outlined by a row of hand-applied antique metal studs, underlining the geometric rigor of the furniture with an eloquent sartorial detail. Thanks to its balance between robustness and sophistication, it is an ideal piece for both master bedrooms in high-end residences and luxury hospitality suites.
Conceived under the experimental LAB philosophy, this side table is handcrafted through a 100% bespoke process. This approach allows interior designers to adjust dimensions to the space's proportions, customize the tone and type of leather, select the stud finish, or incorporate their own coverings (Customer's Own Material/Leather option), ensuring millimeter-precise integration into the project's aesthetic narrative.
